Food Production Operative

Option A on behalf of our client based in Duns are looking to recruit food production workers to help within a busy department.

• Operating machinery and equipment used in the processing of salmon.
• Working on the line making sure product is correctly placed to be packaged
• Packaging salmon products efficiently and accurately.
• Applying labels and ensuring proper packaging for shipment.
• Following strict hygiene and safety protocols.
• Conducting regular quality checks to maintain product integrity.
• Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet production targets.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.

You will be working on a Monday to Friday shift pattern with shifts daily between 2pm and 10pm each day. Pay for this role is 12.18 per hour with occasional overtime available which is after 40 hours per week at 15.23 per hour.
