Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Irvine

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are excited to partner with a leading name in the timber manufacturing industry for the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional to join a dynamic and growing team, working with state-of-the-art equipment in a highly automated production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform both reactive and proactive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure routine maintenance schedules are completed on time and in accordance with safety standards.
  • Fault find, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on site equipment, including PLCs, servo drives, and line automation systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, contributing to plant efficiency.
  • Support the installation of new equipment and assist with production line overhauls.
  • Complete work permits and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and management.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Time-served, multi-skilled maintenance engineer
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations ideally
  • Strong experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and automation systems is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
